The Exhibition “Diversities of religions”

Diversities of religions the Dnipropetrovsk region exhibition is open in the historical museum. Our region is multinational and multireligious. It’s the great wealth of our land. The exhibition includes about four hundred articles dealing with different religious communities. It covers traditions of Orthodoxy, Catholicism and Judaism.

Special significance bears icons dating back to the 18-19 centuries and cult dress.

The exhibition works every day except Monday from 10 a.m. to 4  p.m.

The Exhibition “World of children from the birth to school”

Its slogan is “If you want to save mankind, begin with a child”.

The museum articles, referring to different historic periods are introduced here. Ancient pots and amulets, children’s furniture and clothes, books and toys allow to reconstruct the child’s life during olden times.

Church utensils illustrate very important ritual in the baby’s life – baptism. The exhibition represents icons of God’s mother and small Jesus Christ.

Relics from ancient Egypt are also introduced here. The child/s mummy is of great interest. The exhibition also contains pictures, sculptures, photos which portray children.

The exhibition works every day except Monday from 10 a.m. to 4  p.m.

The Exhibition “Craftsmen and children”

The “Literary Pridneprovie” museum opened the exhibition of arts and crafts/ The works by children of the Ukrainian cultural centre “A snow ball tree circle” and Dnipropetrovsk children’s and youth’s palace are represented here.

The Exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Diorama has produced the exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The aim of the exhibition is to reflect the person’s life on the front during the World War II.

The museum articles and objects from private collection are introduced here.

Service uniform, accoutrements, different items referring to the life of Soviet and German soldiers, personal letters are represented on this exhibition. The military hospital, German dugout and Soviet machinegun emplacement are also reconstructed here.
